Denver Nuggets small forward Wilson Chandler catching a fish is not something that would typically be news-worthy. This is an exception, though, because the fish that Chandler caught is freaking enormous, as you can see in the above photos.
This monstrosity of a fish is an Atlantic goliath grouper, and according to James Dator of SBNation, this one is actually on the smaller side for its species. Chandler’s fish weighs 350 pounds, and the average goliath grouper is over 400 pounds. They can weigh as much as 790 (!!!) pounds, though the record weight of a captured goliath grouper is 680 pounds. So, yeah. In summation: Wilson Chandler caught a big-ass fish, and there are even bigger ones out there. The ocean is sort of terrifying.
