For the first time since December 5th, 2002, the Milwaukee Bucks were featured in a primetime regular season game on TNT. The Bucks back then showcased Ray Allen, Sam Cassell and Michael Redd were the stars of the team 13 years ago but now, the current Bucks stars are athletic with crazy wingspans, exciting and young headlined by Jabari Parker, Greg Monroe and they are led by wingman Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Giannis Antetokoumpo, aka the ‘Greek Freak’, went up against ‘The King’, LeBron James at ‘The Q’ in Cleveland. The Cavaliers played host to the Bucks on their ‘Hardwood Classics Night’ and while a lot of the narrative surrounding the night looked at the past, a present star and a future star squared off.
LeBron had a strong night 27 points on the night, grabbed nine rebounds and also handed out six assists but more importantly, he got the win.
Antetokounmpo on the other hand had the big performance of the game when he scored a career-high 33 points on 12-15 shooting including going 8-8 from the free throw line and he grabbed five rebounds on the night.
