It’s go time, especially if you’re a fan of Kaytranada and his always impressive and amazing productions. With a solid following, in the first half of the year, 2016 has started off to be a rather good year for the producer. Merely weeks ago, Kaytranada went forth to release his highly anticipated studio album, 99.9%. Met with appearances from the likes of Vic Mensa, Anderson .Paak, Syd tha Kyd, and many others, the album dropped at a time where many have found themselves looking records that will serve as the soundtrack for Summer 2016. With things still being focused on that project, it appears that Kaytranada has even more for us fans as the creative has went forth to announce his brand new mixtape, 0.01%. Simple enough, you don’t have to be a mathematician to realize that the sum of both projects combined equals 100%. Taking to Zane Lowe’s radio program via Beats 1, the producer/DJ went forth to premiere his first offering from the project, which is a remix to Rihanna’s fan-favorite ANTI cut, ‘Kiss It Better.’ Giving the record a new twist, the tune went from being sultry and dark to becoming a House-flavored tune that’s more than certainly dance-floor ready. Exciting times for sure, take a listen to the new record, below.
