Call it boredom or call it a new surge of creativity. Whatever you want to list it as, just know that Ray Lewis is looking to jump into the music industry. The living-legend and retired Baltimore Raven, who bowed out gracefully with a Super Bowl victory in February 2013, is looking to add on the title of rapper/singer, along with being a current NFL analyst with ESPN, to his resume. Titled, ‘Can You Stand The Rain,’ this is not to be confused with New Edition’s classic R&B record. Instead, we hear Ray Lewis diving into the role of a rapper & singer over the record which comes off as motivational from the 15 second clip. Evoking just as much passion on the record that plenty of us have witnessed Ray display via the locker room and on the football field, it goes without saying that the former linebacker takes everything he’s involved in 100% serious. Slated to release soon, listen to the snippet, below.
