Paul Pierce is “The Truth,” but he doesn’t exactly play like he used to in his prime. In his prime, he would never miss an easy dunk. Tonight, in the Los Angeles Clippers battle with the Brooklyn Nets, Pierce missed an easy one.
On the break, Chris Paul threw a behind the back to a wide open Pierce, and Pierce went up and missed the dunk. After the play, Pierce fell to the floor and Paul ran over to him and started performing CPR on him. In Pierce’s defense, he was fouled on the play, but he still probably should have made the dunk regardless of the slight contact.
