If it’s one person that can tell us about things not always being better on the other side, it’s definitely Chris Brown. Over the past several months, the focus has 100% been on his latest album, Royalty, in which he dedicated to his one and only daughter. Somewhere between the time spent promoting the album on the road and creating new remixes, Chris found time to record a new album, Heartbreak On A Full Moon, that is slated to be released in the coming months. Without jumping into everything and delivering the project in full, Chris Brown has went ahead and released the previously announced lead single, ‘Grass Ain’t Greener,’ from the album.
Featuring R&B Breezy, Chris Brown sings of a love lost and reiterates that things aren’t always as good as it may seem in comparison to the matter at the moment. Fitting right in with his collection of previous records, ‘Grass Ain’t Greener’ sticks to a comfortable formula that Chris has seemed to adapt over the course of the creation of his most recent studio efforts. With his next album being the 8th addition to his catalog, hopefully a more vulnerable, reflective, and mature-sounding Chris Brown shines through on the new LP. With a solid start, listen to a preview of ‘Grass Ain’t Greener,’ below, and listen to the record in full, here.
