Shannon Roberts known professionally on social media as DJ Hazei is an 18 year old female producer from West Auckland. Shannon started producing at 13 years old and is now studying at Music and Audio Institute of New Zealand where she is also hosting two radio shows on the on-site-station, Radio Teapot. Shannon Roberts has been involved in working and managing artists for shows as well working with International artists Bone Thugs N Harmony and Salt N Pepa on tour at only 16 years old. While studying music, Shannon has also been working on a production for a fireworks display in the Bay Of Plenty at the end of 2015 as well as producing for the Netflix documentary “Unplanned America”, teaming up with New York’s very own online lifestyle magazine Def Pen, Crowdmix Streaming, LIVID, Licid FC and becoming an ambassador for Stance.

Shannon’s production style is very unique, inspired by the likes of FKA Twigs, Lorde, and producers such as Mitus and Timbaland. Shannon likes to create new instruments and incorporate them into futuristic and unknown new sounds.
