Finally! In the world of Hip-Hop, push-backs and delays are a common occurrence among many acts. No matter the timeframe of how many years one has had as an artist in Hip-Hop, delays in albums and projects can happen for a host of reasons that are even sometimes out of the artist’s control. One of Hip-Hop’s own, Young Thug, would know a lot about that as his upcoming project, Slime Season 3, just might have been met with more delays than one person can count on two hands. Being one of the most anticipated projects among fans, talks of releasing the upcoming mixtape have went back as far as 2015. Now, in a clever unveiling and hinted by 300’s Lyor Cohen, Young Thug has officially unveiled Slime Season 3‘s release date.
And just like that, Slime Season 3 will be made available for our listening pleasure this time next week on March 25th. Fingers are cross that this date is set in stones and no more push-backs will effect the project. In a clever marketing campaign, it seems as if Thugger is serious this time around. Will the project be worth the wait? Next week will make it all clear.
