A week after Young Dolph was shot in Hollywood, the 911 call has been released. Young Dolph suffered multiple gunshot wounds during a fight on September 26 with three men. The shooting occurred near the Hollywood & Highland shopping center.
Dolph ran to a Shoe Palace store for safety, while the three suspects separated. TMZ acquired the 911 call below:
While an employee talked to the dispatcher, Dolph bled behind the store’s counter. Authorities later took Dolph to a local hospital.
Corey McClendon was arrested and initially charged for the shooting. However, he was later released by police with no charges. Speculation is growing about Yo Gotti’s involvement in the shooting. The other two men involved have not been arrested. McClendon is a known associate of Gotti’s.
The LAPD said there is still more to their investigation. While police believe McClendon was involved, it’s not known if he was the shooter. So, McClendon was let go without any pending charges.
Young Dolph was listed in critical condition from the shooting. He has been through surgery and is stable. On Sunday, Young Dolph broke his silence, sending a single tweet. He also deleted all of the posts from his Instagram.
