
The past few weeks have beeen extremely eventful in the life and death of XXXTentacion. On June 18th, 2018, Jahseh “XXXTentacion” Onfroy was shot and killed while leaving Riva Motorsports in Deerfield Beach, Florida. According to reports, Onfroy was leaving Riva Motorsports when he was held at gunpoint, robbed and then shot at point, blank range. In the days following the incident, Dedrick Williams was arrested in connection to the crime and authorities have identified another suspect as well.
On a brighter note, Yes Julz, A Helping Hand and friends of the late musician came together last month to hold a charity event that delivered 1,000 free lunches to local Liberty City residents. In addition, fans came by the boat load on June 27th to honor the life of Onfroy at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida. Adding on to the celebration of his life, X’s mother announced today that X’s official clothing line would be releasing a new line of memorial merchandise.
In a post on Instagram, X’s family wrote, “There are currently 1 thousand bootleggers around the world selling clothing with X’s name and likeness. while this is not something @badvibesforeverbrand would create, we wanted give fans the ability to own and wear a piece of Jah’s artistry while also supporting his legacy.”
Released late yesterday, official merchandise is now available on the fallen musicians official website. Fans can purchase brand new shorts, t-shirts and other items commemorating the rapper now.
