Philadelphia is financially motivated, as getting out of Chandler’s salary will enable them to re-sign shooting guard Will Barton, who is set to ink a four-year, $54 million deal, according to ESPN’s Chris Haynes.
For Denver, this moves Chandler's $12.8M expiring contract, clearing room to sign Will Barton to his extension. Denver likely sending a future second-round pick. https://t.co/OQzAwbUWj6

Chandler starting for Philadelphia isn’t entirely out of the question if they keep him, but it’s more likely that he will come off the bench for Robert Covington.
The Sixers could also flip Chandler in another deal – Kawhi Leonard?
