Will Packer has already taken the world of television and film by storm. Now, he’s turning his focus toward the world of podcasting. He has recently signed a deal to produce a lineup of scripted and unscripted podcasts for the iHeartPodcast Network.
“We are excited to partner with iHeartMedia to provide innovative and entertaining content to the fast-growing podcast space. Bringing captivating audio stories to diverse audiences allows us to expand our focus across different media platforms,” Alix Baudin of Will Packer Media said.
Packer is not new to working with iHeartMedia. In October, he co-produced Fight Night with his colleague, James Lopez. He is currently working on a scripted drama podcast set in Oakland, California. It is set to be released in the second quarter of 2021.
“He and his team are exactly the kind of innovative partners we love to support long-term in the podcast medium,” iHeartPodcast Network President Conal Byrne added.
Packer joins a star-studded roster at the iHeartPodcast Network. Charlamagne Tha God, Tamika Mallory, Stephen Jackson, Matt Barnes and several others are part of the growing network. The acclaimed producer will bring even more ears to the network as it looks to take the next step.
