Numerous essay papers are also written on this book to make it easy and understandable as recently this book was removed from grade eight courses as some people complained that the content of this book made them uncomfortable. If you are someone who is not at ease with it then you can read the papers on it, which portray the idea and message behind it.

This novel has always been the object of discussing. In particular, people have been writing the literary essay on To Kill a Mockingbird from time to time as the book revolves around a very important topic from American society. This book has complex and engaging characters which keep students interested and help them with detailed character description. It teaches them how they can build a character when they are writing some fictional story. You can easily find such examples online, which can assist you in understanding this beautiful ideology in an easy way.

To absorb the message completely, it is very important to understand every single character, climb into a character’s skin and walk in his shoes to feel the message. It teaches students how important it is to have the courage and is not something that is limited to physical ability, one need to be mentally strong to deal with things. A person can only be labeled as bravest once he takes control of his thoughts and can deal with circumstances in a dignified way.

This story also emphasizes that being respected is a human right, no matter which gender or age group you belong to, everyone should be treated nicely. It tells how one should interact with children, how important it is to listen to them and let them share what they feel. Treating them as someone as stupid and not worthy enough to spend time with can impact their personality negatively.

Having strong moral values is also very important. One should not fall as prey every time someone comes up with a strong argument or tries to manipulate things. You always stand for what you believe in, if you feel that one person is right despite the majority being against him, then you should be courageous enough to put up your points and support what seems right. Following other people’s directions might seem easy, but it is not worthy. Always follow your moral code, regardless of what other people believe in. One should always have the integrity to do the right things and defend what is of high regard. Do not wait for validation from other people, always follow your instincts and propose a solution that seems best.

If you have not seen the thing with your own eyes, it doesn’t mean that it is not true or it doesn’t exist. Thus, reading more samples of To Kill a Mockingbird, you’ll get to know that you can’t assume anything regarding anyone. Scout and Jem were embarrassed as to their father’s age and used to think that he is neither strong nor smart enough to do anything, but they were surprised when they saw their father shooting the rabid dog. At that point, they realized that they didn’t know their own father. It also occurred to them that their father has a lot more than meets the eyes.

Below mentioned are the ten lessons which students can learn from To Kill a Mockingbird? It helps students to become an exemplary human being and how important it is to learn integrity.

1. Learn to observe things from other people’s perspectives.
2. One needs to be courageous, physically and mentally both.
3. Treat people as human beings, regardless of race and social class.
4. Children should be treated with great respect.
5. Always follow your own moral code, no matter how many people try to negate you. Stand for what you believe in.
6. People are not always what they seem. Never judge anyone instantly.
7. If something does not meet your eyes, then it does not mean that it didn’t happen. Never question anyone’s credibility to do something if you didn’t get the chance to see it.
8. Societal change can surely happen, it is slow but worth the effort.
9. While growing up, one learns about the society they live in, but it does not mean that you have to accept it too. Deal with the world how it works but do not accept everything which is offered.
10. If you are a lady, you have extra baggage to carry. You have your responsibilities once you grow.

This book has been a part of the curriculum to teach students “fight for the right” and inspire them to be their better form. It motivates children to not accept the societal practices which do not seem worthy and can grow on their own terms. They can do better than the society they were born in.
