Coming up on the 1 year anniversary of the release of J. Cole’s third studio album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, and as we look back, it’s seems just as if it has been the best year for the rapper in terms of his career accomplishments. Arguably being his most personal album to date, J. Cole’s latest LP made an impact on lives beyond just simply enjoying the music that he had created during the studio sessions. Returning home during his tour in support of the album, J. Cole’s homecoming concert marked a special moment for the rapper as everything he worked for had come full circle in that moment. Bring out guests such as Jay Z & Drake, J. Cole made sure that the concert would be a special affair for everyone who took the time out to be with him that evening. Airing on HBO on January 9th, we now have the accompanying trailer to the upcoming “Forest Hills Drive: Homecoming” special. Noting that his main goal is for people in his hometown to realize that anything is possible if they want it, J. Cole delivered a live rendition of all the records that can be found on 2014 Forest Hills Drive. Being a great treat for fans who couldn’t attend, and an opportunity for those of us to relive the excitement we felt as we witnessed our stops during the tour, J.
