Earlier this month we received the first teaser trailer and a brief description of Black Ops III setting, now today we have a new teaser titled ‘Ember’. Treyarch did reveal that BlOps III would be in the future and now we know when, 40 years after Black Ops II, 2065. A time where the human race cannot control the very technology they once created. This cinematic trailer which shows no actual gameplay, but the evolution of mankind and how they’ve become so dependent on technology.
Treyarch has shown us DNA upgrades, cybernetic limb replacements, retinal implants, and “brain-to-brain connections in this trailer and it is safe to safe something has gone terribly wrong in their version of mankind in 2065.
Mankind’s greatest mistake will be its inability to control the technology it has created.
