
The Golden State Warriors have signed free agent guard Elliot Williams to a one-year contract according to Shams Charania of the Vertical.
Williams played five games for the Memphis Grizzlies last season. Williams contract is partially guaranteed , he will be competing in training camp to fill out the Golden State bench.
Williams has had trouble sticking with a team in the league, playing with five teams since he was drafted in 2010 out of the University of Memphis.
The Warriors are familiar with Williams who has played on their D-League team for the past two seasons. He averaged 24 points a game on the Santa Cruz Warriors in 52 games.
