If you have been under a rock this month then thats the only way you don’t know about this upcoming collaboration between VILLA x adidas. Throughout the month of June, VILLA has gone through stages unveiling their adidas Top Ten ‘Final Draft’ and we have been monitoring the stages by keeping you guys updated. From first looks, a release date and then release details.
With the release date being June 28th the folks at VILLA wanted to celebrate in style due to the fact it is also their 25th anniversary and what better way to than having a launch event.
Def Pen was in attendance for this event and we were more than grateful to be apart of the festivities.
Below is a recap from the event that took place yesterday in NYC (Brooklyn to be exact) which also had a guest performance from A$AP Ferg. There was a tremendously large turn out which is great. You had music from a set of DJs that ranged from DJ Mel Debarge, DJ Flipstar, DJ Bobby Trends and DJ Schoolboy. It looks like the folks at VILLA know how to throw a party, LOL.

One of the key reasons why we decided to “launch” the shoe in New York goes back to a key moment in history which featured a riot breaking out when the original Declaration of Independence arrived in NY in 1776. After speaking to a historian, the event was described as the equivalent to a “modern day party”. Our celebration was an early kick off leading into Saturday’s official release of the VILLA exclusive Adidas Top Ten “Final Draft”
