The WWE has announced that WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins has sustained a torn ACL, MCL and Meniscus, as seen in the video above. He suffered the injury while the company was doing their international tour in Europe.
You can see WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins attempt to flip over ‘Demon’ Kane from the top rope in an attempt to put him through a table but the move went wrong. You see Rollins’ knee buckle and he crumbles but somehow he does pick up Kane and puts him through the table.
ESPN’s Jonathan Coachman broke the news on twitter.

This possibly couldn’t have happened at a worse time for the WWE. Rollins will be out for 6-9 months, putting him out of big pay-per-views like Survivor Series, Royal Rumble and even Wrestlemania. They’re in a weird place after a somewhat successful ‘Hell in A Cell’ pay-per-view event. Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker closed the show with the Wyatt family coming out and taking Undertaker away only to follow that up the next night on Monday Night Raw with the Wyatt’s also carrying out his ‘brother’ Kane.
Without Randy Orton, who is also out due to injury, and John Cena, who is out for his own personal reasons, and now without Rollins, the WWE is almost forced to turn one of their young stars for the first time in a long time.
The tournament at Survivor Series should be a fun little way to get some guys the main spotlight they deserve. Don’t be surprised to get a possible Sami Zayn surprise appearance or even a possible heel turn from Roman Reigns.
Everything is up in the air right now, so it will remain to be seen where the WWE goes from here.
