As a visitor in enemy territory, you have to expect some heckling coming your way. It’s the same in any sport, so the fact that a San Antonio Spurs fan by the name of ‘Kenny’ was the subject of some Houston Rockets hate isn’t surprising.
This hate only gets better because he’s obviously a man over the age of 10, wearing a customized Spurs jersey. Ok, why? And it’s not like it’s his last name with a cool number. In fact, I assume its his first name, ‘Kenny’, and the number ’00’. Not cool.
Do I feel bad for Kenny being the subject of the ridicule he probably garnered by wearing a jersey like that? No.
I do feel bad that he got completely blasted by the Rockets mascot ‘Clutch’ with a cake and he got knocked right out of his seat in the process. Promptly, he stood up and looked at security and the ushers for some help (much like James Harden did later in that same game when his potential game winning layup was blocked by Tim Duncan and he looked at the referees for some help).
Whether or not this is staged, we’ll never know. I do know one thing though, he literally got knocked out of his seat by a big fluffy mouse running full speed at him with a cake.
Guess you can’t have your cake and eat it too, ‘Kenny’.
