Indiana Pacers superstar Paul George has finally returned to the team. George, wearing his new number 13 jersey, came back to help the Pacers during their playoff push with a big win over the Miami Heat.
PG-13 is a great new nickname for George, it goes with his initials and jersey number of course but his game is so nasty, viewer discretion is advised. Especially after he defied all odds and played on Easter Sunday against the Heat in his 2014-15 season debut, it appears that this may be the start of a new chapter in George’s career. A devastating leg injury sidelined Paul George for the better part of 8 months.
George announced his return on twitter and instagram yesterday and everyone was anticipating what kind of George we would be able to see.
We got our first glimpse at George’s potential star qualities when he checked into the game and was welcomed by a loud and proud Bankers Life Fieldhouse crowd.
George only played 15 minutes in his first game back but scored 13 points on 5-12 shooting. He also grabbed 2 rebounds, handed out 2 assists and got 2 steals to go along with his scoring output.
Paul George finally coming back is amazing for the Pacers and the NBA. A star returns and he seems like exactly what the Pacers need to make a big playoff run. It was a good first showing too because they blew out the Miami Heat 112-89.
Welcome back, PG-13.
