LeBron James has been known for having his teammates backs. He’s defended J.R Smith and Kyrie Irving in their times of need in the Playoffs, and now newly appointed point guard Matthew Dellavedova. Dellavedova has received a lot of criticism over the last couple weeks due to his over aggressive play in the Playoffs. First he got Taj Gibson ejected in the second round and now he got Al Horford ejected in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
LeBron doesn’t want to hear none of that. He knows that Dellavedova is a good player that will do what it takes to win and he wants that type of player on his team. LeBron did not seem happy about the media’s attack on Delly.
LeBron James is ‘media-trained’ he knows exactly what to say and how to say it and get his point across. He mentioned that he waved off a David Blatt play, which seemed intentional, and now he is defending Dellavedova on his ‘bad rap’. Classy move by the leader of this team. LeBron snapped in-game 3 to essentially make history and add a ‘flu game’ to his legendary career as well. Game 4 will be on Tuesday and the Cavaliers will have a chance to advance to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2007.
