Kobe Bryant stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live and discussed a range of things from having a hard time watching the Lakers this past season, to Donald Sterling, and also the Lakers current coaching situation after Mike D’antoni resigned as the Lakers head coach.
Kobe also spoke about how him and Donald Sterling had talks in the past about him coming to play for the Clippers. Reason that never went through was due to money opposed to racism.
“At the time, the biggest concern was if he was willing to spend enough to have a championship team,”
During the whole non-sense that took place, Bryant reached out to his friend Chris Paul to show his support.
“Chris [Paul] is a friend of mine so I sent him a message throughout this whole fiasco,”
