The Los Angeles Lakers lost Julius Randle in the first game of the season, with not much time left in the game, to a broken leg. A devastating blow to the Lakers potential future plans for the former Kentucky Wildcats star.
Randle has been doing different drills previously in preparation for next season. Next year could be a good measurement of what direction the team may be going looking towards the future and who might be the next big players in the post-Kobe era.
Last night, before the Lakers win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, Randle took to the court to put up some shots, cut to the basket a few times and even throw down some dunks. A promising thing to see, that possibly can bring some smiles to Lakers’ fans faces, since there hasn’t been much to smile about this season.
