The Golden State Warriors accomplished the ultimate goal on Monday, finishing off another historic season with a victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2017 NBA Finals.
From a game five suspension that started the Cavs’ comeback last season to the reported phone calls and texts to sign Kevin Durant, Draymond Green’s impact on the series was felt everywhere. So when the final buzzer sounded and the Warriors’ victory was set in stone, Green was the player everyone wanted to be interviewed.
Never one to mince words, Green admitted that he was ready to go on an epic rant with a list of people he wanted to talk about following the finals, but decided against it:

The man had a list.
This is a masterful way for Draymond to call out some people without getting too much flack for his heated quotes. In all seriousness, Green did a much better job of keeping his cool throughout the playoffs, this year, picking and choosing his spots to give the Dubs’ some energy. That was a major factor in winning his second ring.
