If you haven’t seen Drake on the latest installment of the ‘Nardwuar VS’ series, you need to absolutely check it out. As always, Nardwuar completely proves why he’s one of the best in the game when talking to some of the best and brightest in music. You’ve seen his work before and his interviews are always must watch because he gets to connect with people on a deeper level and even touched on some of Drake’s influences for his new album ‘VIEWS’.
A part of his interview with Drake, he got to open up on a few NBA topics related to his life and career. Nardwuar and Drake touch on what kind of person the Toronto native and Raptors Global Ambassador likes to bring with him to games. He goes on the talk about ‘Like Mike’ and the influences from that film, including his relationship with guys like new basketball Hall of Famer Allen Iverson, Steve Nash and others. They even talk about Kobe Bryant’s rap career, which was long retired before his basketball career along with Shaquille O’Neal spitting some bars on a few track. The ‘Six God’ even goes on to talk about Stephen Curry and the relationship he was with the reigning NBA MVP and his family.
