DeMarcus Cousins is single-handedly securing his spot in the 2016 NBA All-Star game. Last season, he got in as an injury replacement but now, Boogie is trying to secure his spot as a reserve one week after the starters were announced.
DeMarcus Cousins and his Sacramento Kings hosted Kemba Walker and the Charlotte Hornets in a matchup between the two reigning NBA players of the week. The game between the two teams went into double overtime but the big story was the performance of Cousins as he led his Kings to victory in historic fashion.
Just a few nights after DeMarcus Cousins dropped a career-high 48 points, he went off once again. It was a career night for Cousins as he scored an NBA season-high, career-high and Sacramento Kings franchise record 56 points on the night before fouling out in the second overtime on a questionable offensive foul call from referee Zack Zarba. Cousins also shot 21-30 from the field and 13-16 from the free throw line while he also grabbed 12 rebounds and handed out four assists.
