The Golden State Warriors have officially eliminated the Portland Trail Blazers from the NBA Playoffs. Despite the Blazers valiant efforts to keep this series as close as possible, the upper-handed Warriors finished them off in 5 games, with the elimination win tonight in Oakland. The Blazers led by Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum throughout the series were showing that they are a much better team then people expected when the season first started, and got their own highlights in the series, even with all the Warriors highlights.
C.J. McCollum who added 27 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists in Game 5, also added pretty highlight plays, especially one that Stephen Curry will remember for a while.
The Most Improved Player Of The Year vs. The Most Valuable Player Of The Year, and he showed him how much he has improved throughout this year. McCollum has come into the spotlight this year after getting the opportunity to show what he’s got as a starter, and proved that he is worthy of that position in this league. The Blazers have an exciting future ahead of them that starts with McCollum and all-star point guard Damian Lillard.
