The Hawks managed to keep control of the game throughout the entirety as they beat the Nets 99-92. To make things worse for the Nets, Al Horford threw down this nasty dunk on Brook Lopez off a bounce pass from Pero Antic. Lopez at first seemed like he was going to just stand back and watch, but then ended up taking a step out to try to contest the dunk.
The dunk capped of a successful night for Horford that included 10 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists, and a block in 34 minutes of play. It should also be noted that Horford was tied for the team lead in plus-minus with plus 13.
Horford will have to continue to battle with Brook Lopez in the post to ensure the Hawks can sweep the Nets in the series. If Lopez gets hot, or begins to feel any advantage over Horford, the Hawks may face some competition. As long as Horford can play somewhere around the level of Lopez, the Hawks will continue to win games.
