Al Horford is not known as a rim protector, but on this play he blocks DeMarcus Cousins’ shot off the backboard to record one of his two blocks in the game. Al ran the floor well, and Shelvin Mack found him streaking towards the basket for an easy fastbreak dunk a few seconds later.
Al scored 17 points in the Atlanta Hawks 103-97 victory over the Sacramento Kings. Paul Millsap led the Hawks with 23 points and 16 rebounds. DeMarcus Cousins had 24 points, but he only shot 7/20. The Hawks next game is a battle with the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday, and the Kings will be going to Miami to play the Heat tomorrow.
