In the new Rick Famuyiwa film Dope, Harlem emcee A$AP Rocky makes a quick cameo in the trailer. Dope is loosely based on Famuyiwa upbringing in Inglewood, California. The movie is centered around a nineties hip-hop geek named Malcolm that ultimately gets into a sticky situation at a party where a drug deal goes completely left.
The flick stars Shameik Moore, Zoë Kravitz, Tony Revolori, Blake Anderson, Keith Stanfield, Chanel Iman, Casey Veggies, Vince Staples, Tyga and A$AP Rocky.
The movie is set to premiere at Sundance Film Festival later this week.
