For the past week, things have been amazing if you find yourself being a fan of Chicago’s own, Vic Mensa. This time last week, the rapper and singer went forth to cryptically announce that new music was on the way. Fast-forward to now, the rapper went on to release his brand new EP, There’s A Lot Going On. Tackling plenty of issues via the body of work, with the most jarring and ear-catching being political issues, along with reflecting on himself, the 7 track body of work is just as refreshing as it is pleasantly shocking.
Now, to keep things going and riding on the high wave that he’s just unleashed, Vic Mensa delivers more as he has premiered his new music video for the title track of the brand new EP. With the record being his most reflective, revealing, and honest to date, Vic takes viewers on a ride that displays with words and pictures of his journey for the past few years. Being simplistic, but laying everything out on the table, it’s safe to say that the new music video and EP will only be the start of even greater things for the rapper.
