For sure, the past year has definitely been busy for one of Roc Nation’s newest artist, Vic Mensa. Over the course of the past year, the rapper has went forth to drop several records and tunes that have showcased various sides of his artistry as he has tapped into House styles with ‘Down On My Luck’ and also swayed into more hard-hitting Electro-Hip-Hop fusion type of records with ‘U Mad.’ With these tunes, Vic has previously went on record and conveyed that he has surely been working on a new body of work to host the music that he’s found himself releasing and creating. Now, with a series of Instagram posts, fans of Mr. Mensa just may be getting a bunch of new material much sooner than later.
Alluding to a mixtape and album coming very soon, Vic has also officially revealed the accompanying cover art and titled for one of the new projects. There’s A Lot Going on appears to be the first body of work that will be making its way to us all. With no release date coming from Vic’s mouth, reports are stating that the mixtape will arrive this Friday, June 3rd. Being almost three years since the release of INNANETAPE, we’re all definitely hungry for what’s in store.
