The first battle to release from Rookies vs Vets, Shotgun Suge vs Th3 Saga and we were taken to church. What a job the URL has done with their search for the next stars and Th3 Saga showed promise in his first stint on the URL stage. The irony of the release on Easter Sunday was that the two battlers believe in different reigions. Th3 Saga being christian and Shotgun Suge being Muslim, so you know the religion bars were flying across the stage. This battle was the perfect match up, as Suge likes to dominate his opponent space along with his famous “pocket check” and Th3 Saga attacks you with relentless bars without truly disrespecting his opponent. Shotgun Suge, approximately 6’5 280 pounds, exemplified how he should dominate the stage at all times. He showed he wanted to stay on this stage for a long time as the fans were doubting him because of his past performances in the last couple years.
“Smack said he’s christian so his contract came with a peace offering. My homies like ‘whats a peace offering?’ I don’t know but 15 bucks is what the piece offering.”
Suge is ALL in his bag in his first round and had fire all throughout. Giving the fans those religion bars like I said he would earlier. Th3 Saga has never seen nothing like Suge but he stood his ground as he came back with a very impressive 3rd round.
Th3 Saga seemed a bit uncomfortable in the 1st round as he had to figure out how much space he really had on the stage and controlling his bars as the crowd is reacting. He figured it out as he improved throughout every round. It showed as his stage presence and crowd control in round 3, was demanding. Suge seemed to not be interested in a bar Th3 Saga spit and Saga replied with “Look at him. emotional.” A famous line said by Loaded Lux and he replicated it towards Suge and the crowd erupted.
Check time 28:20. Th3 Saga has shown that he could hang with the big dogs and was invited to join the New World order movement aka NWX, that group consists of DNA, K-Shine, BigT, Rain 910, and Th3 Saga.
Smack and URL kicked off their 2015 campaign with a great debatable battle and the fans will be pleased. How long will it take for them to release the next battle? The fans seem to think two weeks from Easter Sunday. We’ll see smack will be on RNT. Drop your comments below on who you thought won.
