WHAT. A. BATTLE.
The URL’s main event of the rookies vs Vets card slated the best rookie vs the best Vet. T-Top coming off his championship victory on 106 & park. Clips last stint on URL, had an iconic performance against T-Rex and is set to Battle Hollow Da Don at NOME 5 on May 9th. Tickets are SOLD OUT so you’ll have to purchase the $30 PPV like the rest of us at WatchBattlelive.com
Man! Park Life must be something serious, as T-Top continues his career spitting fire about his life back home in North Carolina. But when does it become tiresome? A battlers content on the big stage doesn’t normally get checked unless you’re repetitive and you will not survive very long. An opponent breaking down an “one trick pony” usually can win the battle alone. Hence, Loaded Lux vs Murda Mook 2, Daylyt vs B magic, Aye Verb vs Cortez (Cor had to switch his whole style up).
Top looked amazing as a rookie on the stage in the first two rounds. Coming with that hunger and aggression but thats not only what needs to be shown to create a great show and to get a decisive win. As good as T-Top was, pause, you can see the hesitation and the inexperience as he is rapping…
In this clip, he hits the crowd with a hard hitting punchline but still tries to continue rapping as he was not ready for the crowd to react that bar. Its all about controlling where you want the crowd to react within your verse. If he hones in on that, he could be REALLY great.
Clips made a smart move by taking T-Top now before he enters greatness. Knowing that Top is going to be a force in the battle rap game. The fans seem to be rocking with clips but loves T-Top and his potential.
@CHARLIECLIPS wrecked t top with a lyrical arsenal that won’t be rivaled for a while, while t top proved he can and will soon be top tier.

T Top is nice he had his moments, specifically in round 2, but the homie @CHARLIECLIPS was just to much.. May 16th can’t come soon enough — Duane Jackson (@iamduanejackson) May 3, 2015
Clips pen is Phenomenal, continuously spoiling fans with his CRRRRRAZY crowd control, and quotable after quotable. But we believe the fans has missed, possibly, the 1st quintuplet entendre in a battle. Here it is
“Back in the day, i had Tay Tay. Broke Roc down, Thats a cave man.”
Meanings:
1. Broke Tay Roc down in a battle and made him a caveman(disappeared after their first battle).
2. Broke down Tay Roc of cave gang.
3. Cavemen broke rocks down in the past.
4. When you’re breaking down and separating a rock of cocaine.
5. When you break some down their confidence caves in.
If I am reaching, y’all let me know.
Clips vs Hollow are prepping for the biggest match up in their careers at NOME 5 and if they bring what the fans expect to bring, we’ll have a historical URL battle.
