Talk about a #tbt. Universal Pictures is looking to revive its monster movie franchises from the 30s and 40s.
According to Deadline, Universal has hired writers Alex Kurtzman and Chris Morgan to work on the films. Kurtzman is most known for ‘Transformers’ and ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ while Morgan has written five of the ‘Fast and Furious’ films.
Universal hopes to unify the films much like Marvel’s superhero blockbusters.
