UNIQLO is a brand that’s brought us some of the most comfortable yet simply designed articles of clothing. From heat tech to jersey knit, collaborations with some of our favorite artists including Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring and Andy Warhol (all MoMA collabs btw), the Japanese brand has allowed us here in the US to keep things casually cool and well dressed all at the same time. So, to celebrate 10 years of being apart of the Soho district, UNIQLO reopened it’s doors today to unveil a new and improved look and collection. The grand re-opening, which they’ve entitled ‘A New Tokyo in Soho’, was nothing short of amazing. With staff welcoming customers at the entrance with large rounds of applause and gift cards, you’re sure to be excited about the experience before you even begin browsing the store. Power 105.1 radio personality Angela Yee was in attendance as well, with free prize giveaways and Made In America tickets. Can’t beat that!
But the grand re-opening was more than just free prizes and giveaways. UNIQLO‘s new fall/winter collection is incredible. The new shop-in-shop concept includes ready-to-wear knits, performance tech, sweaters and flannels, Supima cotton t-shirts joggers and much more. The collection brings us some of the most comfortable materials, which are well designed and great for all senses of style, that will have us looking and feeling good for when the cooler weather comes around. It’s definitely worth it to stop by and check it out. Sales promotions will be going on from Sept. 2-5, along with giveaways.
