This contract is at the veteran’s minimum.
Haslem was signed by the Heat as an undrafted rookie in 2003 and has played in Miami every season since. These days, he rarely gets off the bench and is there more as a locker-room guy. Despite the fact that he’s no longer an on-court contributor, Heat fans will rejoice to see Haslem back in red.
For his career, Haslem has averaged 7.7 points and 6.8 rebounds per game while shooting 49.1 percent from the field.
Haslem has been a part of each of the Heat’s three NBA championships (2006, 2012 and 2013).
The Heat have also signed Jarnell Stokes and Briante Weber this offseason.
