Due to a few Kotaku sources, we have caught wind of the next installment in the assassin series. Assassin’s Creed: Victory. Victory is being developed by Ubisoft’s studio in Quebec. Kotaku sources have laid eyes on a seven minute demo of Victory and gives us a few details on it.
In this demo they saw the main character running across a 19th century building in London. Said character then jumps off said building into a train to fight off a few Templars. Also in this trailer is a new gadget, a grappling hook, which may be very vital to Victory’s assassinations.
It is being said that this will be the only Assassin’s Creed for 2015. Hopefully all Assassin Creed player are on current-gen consoles by then so they do not miss out on the adventure that Victory will be. Ubisoft has confirmed the development of Victory and is very disappointed by the leak. You can read what Ubisoft had to say on the leak of Assassin’s Creed: Victory, below.
It is always unfortunate when internal assets, not intended for public consumption, are leaked. And, while we certainly welcome anticipation for all of our upcoming titles, we’re disappointed for our fans, and our development team, that this conceptual asset is now public. he team in our Quebec studio has been hard at work on the particular game in question for the past few years, and we’re excited to officially unveil what the studio has been working on at a later date. In the meantime, our number one priority is enhancing the experience of Assassin’s Creed Unity for players.
