Corner Talk: A man of his word, Fury has followed through on his word. He was able to push the tempo of the first round and put the pressure on Wilder. Closing the round, Fury landed a nice jab, which appears to be the most consequential punch of the round. With that being said, Wilder was able to sneak in a few close right hands that could prove consequential later in the fight.
Second Round: Deontay Wilder – 19 | Tyson Fury – 19
Corner Talk: Fury was a man of his word in the first round, but he wasn’t a man of his word in the second. Leading up to this fight, Fury consistently said that he would knock Wilder out in round two. While that didn’t happen, he was able to control much of the round with his jab yet again. The two are still feeling their way in this fight, so things are still coming together.
Third Round: Deontay Wilder – 27 | Tyson Fury – 29

Corner Talk: We have a fight on our hands. For the first time in his career, Wilder showed real signs of being hurt. For much of this fight, Fury has been able to control the fight with his jab and then following it up with an over the top right hand. During the final ten seconds of the third round, he was able to do just that.
Fourth Round: Deontay Wilder – 36 | Tyson Fury – 39
Corner Talk: The fourth round was quite tame compared to what we’ve seen in the first three. Wilder slipped early in the round, but two went toe-to-toe for most of the round. One aspect of note is the range of emotions of the ring. The referee has warned both fighters that he would dock points of inappropriate conduct. Wilder needs to make sure his emotions don’t get the best of him and lead him to do something dumb. Fury needs to make sure his emotions don’t cause him to celebrate and lose a point.
Fifth Round: Deontay Wilder – 44 | Tyson Fury – 48

Corner Talk: Again! Yes, Tyson Fury knocked down Wilder yet again. As mentioned previously, Fury was able to land the over the top right hand after throwing a jab. Luckily for Wilder, the referee took away a point from Fury for holding around the neck. Fury is continuously using his weight to lean on Wilder and tire him out.

Corner Talk: Wilder is in danger of being knocked out if he doesn’t land something substantial in the next two rounds. He is bleeding from his face and his eardrum. Also, he appears to have damaged his jaw as well. Moving forward, he needs to get that jab going to keep Fury off of him.

Corner Talk: As mentioned previously, Wilder needed to land something substantial with his right hand to keep Fury off of him. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to and the fight was called off midway through the round.
