It may be hard to believe, but this year will mark the tenth anniversary of Tyler, The Creator’s debut album, Bastard. The California native has turned a knack for outrageous and disturbing comedy into a ten year career. Over the years, Tyler has managed to create shows for Cartoon Network, score films, start up his own businesses and drop a solid album from time to time. This time around, the Odd Future ring leader is dropping his sixth studio album, Igor.
Similar to many things in his career, Tyler’s latest project comes as a bit of surprise. While it has been two years since he dropped his last project, the creative announced the project less than two weeks ago. Previous rumors had speculated that the project wouldn’t arrive until the end of June. Nevertheless, it’s here and it’s time to enjoy it.
Tyler, The Creator’s Igor arrives with previously released tracks like “Igor’s Theme” and “What’s Good.” The album also features a guest appearance from Santigold. As expected, the project is complete produced and arranged by Tyler himself. Check out the new project from the Grammy nominated rapper and get ready for the various projects he has in the works.
