Disney has released the first preview clip from the upcoming animated series Star Wars: Rebels.
The clip was premiered at WonderCon, and was introduced by Vanessa Marshall, who voices lead character, Hera.
Star Wars: Rebels, will take place between Episode III and Episode IV, an era that has never been developed on screen before!
The show will focus on when the Empire is tightening its hold on the galaxy, while hunting the remaining Jedi Knights involved in a new rebellion.
Simon Kinberg, writer and producer of X-Men: First Class, will write the first episode and executive produce the series alongside Dave Filoni and Greg Weisman.
Star Wars: Rebels is due to premiere as a one-hour special this summer on the Disney Channel, before airing regularly on Disney XD in the fall.
