Several years after his unfortunate death, Tupac is still making waves with his name. Back in October, the rapper was announced as one among many who were nominated for 2017’s Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame. With the amount of rappers having the honor being slim to none, the official results are in and Tupac will now join a special class of Hip-Hop artists who have a Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame induction attached to their name.
Alongside Pearl Jam, Journey, and others, Tupac will only be the sixth rapper to be inducted. The ceremony will broadcasted on HBO next year and will be held at the Barclays Center on April 7, 2017. A true honor for a rapper who is often credited as inspiration for so many, this will only further help the legacy of Tupac Shakur to continue living on.
