Freshman forward Troy Brown of the Oregon Ducks has declared for the 2018 NBA Draft. The talented freshman has decided that he is ready to make the jump to the NBA and will hire an agent. Brown is coming off a solid freshman campaign where he averaged 11.3 points, 6.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game. Brown is projected to be a late lottery to late first round draft pick in 2018. Brown has enjoyed his short collegiate career but now looks forward to fulfilling his NBA dream.

The Oregon Ducks will be without the talented wing moving forward, but will still field a talented roster in the upcoming season. Brown helped led the Ducks to the second round of the NIT Tournament where the team lost to the Marquette Golden Eagles. Brown is an interesting forward prospect standing at 6’7″ with a 6’11” wingspan that helps him score and also fight for rebounds. The Young forward should see his name called fairly early in the draft.
The biggest question for Troy Brown heading into the 2018 NBA Draft will be his jump shot. While at the Oregon Ducks he only shot 29 percent from beyond the three-point line. Brown is confident that he can prove to NBA teams that he is a better shooter than he appeared to be in college. Brown is ready and excited for his NBA dream to come true and several late lottery teams will be hard pressed to pass on the now former Oregon Duck. He rebounds well and has the potential to be a versatile scorer at the NBA level. Brown also showed solid ability on defense and decent steal numbers.
