Tremaine “Trey Songz” Neverson was reportedly arrested at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri following the AFC Championship on Sunday. Officers appear to approach the award-winning singer after fans allegedly complained that he was not following COVID-19 health protocols. When officers neared the singer, a scuffle broke out and he was taken into custody. At this time, it is unclear what, if any, charges he will face following the altercation.

If reports are correct, it would not be the first time Trey Songz was accused of not following health protocols. In December, an Ohio venue that he was set to perform at was cited for numerous health violations. Moments prior to his performance, pictures of Aftermath nightclub surfaced. The photos showed dozens of patrons consuming alcohol without face masks in an enclosed space. Authorities were notified and the show was shut down.
Also, Trey Songz tested positive for COVID-19 back in June. He joins the 25.4 million Americans who have tested positive for the virus.
Trey Songz nor the officers involved in the incident have issued a statement regarding the matter.
