The first entry into the realm of the TrapHouse and Def Pen is excited as ever. TrapHouseNY is celebrating two years of success, being one of the worlds most respected grounds where talent is developed and discovered. We would not consider them an under the radar league, as the battle culture as a whole knows about the Trap but they have yet to reach the eyes and ears of the masses. If you ever wonder where your future stars of the established leagues comes from, then look no further.
In the past two years, TrapHouseNY has produced timeless wars, from as early as Jimz vs Xcel to Fettuccine20 vs Bing Nation. Recently they put together their own rookies vs vets event called Funeral Service, featuring Shotgun Suge vs Reepah Rell.
No Mercy, who has been apart of the culture for some time now, has given the young stars we see today, a stage for the spotlight to shine on them. Here’s a few battlers who made their name coming from the Trap:
