The trailer for the Halloween sequel is finally here. David Gordon Green’s remake of the Halloween horror involving one of the most traumatising characters of all time was set to release today and fans we’re in awe as they saw the return of Michael Myers. Directed and Written by Gordon Green, as well as co-written by Jeff Fradley and Danny McBride, Halloween will star Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode and Nick Castle as Michael Myers.
The trailer also gave us first looks at some new characters including Strode’s daughter and granddaughter, Karen (played by Judy Greer) and Allyson (played by Andi Marichak). There were hopes of a trailer last year but better late then never right? Without further ado, the trailer I was too afraid to watch, Halloween 2018:
Universal Pictures will release Trancas International Films, Blumhouse Productions and Miramax’s Halloween on Friday, October 19, 2018.
Jamie Lee Curtis returns to her iconic role as Laurie Strode, who comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree four decades ago.
Master of horror John Carpenter executive produces and serves as creative consultant on this film, joining forces with cinema’s current leading producer of horror, Jason Blum (Get Out, Split, The Purge, Paranormal Activity). Inspired by Carpenter’s classic, filmmakers David Gordon Green and Danny McBride crafted a story that carves a new path from the events in the landmark 1978 film, and Green also directs.
