Oklahoma star point guard and projected-top-10 draft pick Trae Young underwent a “secret” workout with the Cleveland Cavaliers, reports Jonathan Givony of ESPN:

Young and Gilgeous-Alexander being neck-and-neck at No. 8 is interesting; Young has been the concensus higher-ranked prospect in the draft process thus far.
The Cavs will be in a tricky situation at eighth in the draft; all signs point to them having no clue what LeBron James is doing this summer, so they’ll likely attempt to make a pick that will help them whether James stays in Cleveland or leaves.
Young has a much higher ceiling than Gilgeous-Alexander, but also a lower floor due to his diminutive stature.
The latest Def Pen mock draft has Young going sixth overall to the Orlando Magic. It also has Gilgeous-Alexander going 16th to the Phoenix Suns, although it would be surprising to see him fall that far.
