Rolling Loud has revealed that Tory Lanez will perform at its upcoming festival in Toronto, Ontario. The Toronto native has not officially appeared on the festival’s lineup in nearly four years. However, he did make a guest appearance during DaBaby’s Rolling Loud set in 2021. He joins a lineup that includes Dave, Future and Wizkid along with performances from Migos, Roddy Ricch and Lil’ Uzi Vert.
“And I promise…I’m going to f*ck this sh*t up,” he tweeted after Rolling Loud shared the news.
Tory Lanez has released a number of new projects within the last two years. Last year, he delivered We Outside, Playboy and Alone At Prom. This year, he is set to release Sorry 4 What. While his musical output has increased, he has not appeared on the lineup of a major music festival in more than two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic and ongoing legal issues.
Tory Lanez has been charged with multiple felonies, including assault with a firearm and carrying a loaded, unregistered weapon. Grammy Award winner Megan Thee Stallion has accused the singer of shooting her in the foot following a gathering at Kylie Jenner’s home in July 2020.
“You shot me, and you got your publicist and your people going to these blogs lying and sh*t,” Megan Thee Stallion said.
“Stop lying. Why lie?”
Tory Lanez has pleaded not guilty to the charges levied against him and will stand trial beginning September 14, 2022.
