In this moment, fans of Toronto’s Tory Lanez are rejoicing everywhere. Since the release of his chart-topping single, ‘Say It,’ although making waves of his own before, Tory Lanez has found his name as the topic of discussion by many. Trickling out a few new records since then, fans of the singer/rapper were left wondering just when Tory would take things up a notch and release a new full-length project in support of the new tunes he’s pushed out. Well, the speculative thoughts and ever growing concern can be put to rest as Tory has not only announced one new project, but took to his Instagram to announce two new mixtapes that will drop in the new future.
First, Tory Lanez has teamed up with DJ Drama for the newly announced, The New Toronto mixtape. Secondly, Mr. Lanez has also announced the highly anticipated followup to his 2014 drop, Chixtape 2, with the forthcoming Chixtape 3. This makes for exciting times indeed as both bodies of work will be released to all this week on Christmas day. Surely an unprecedented but welcomed surprise, if Tory’s newly released ‘Traphouse‘ is anything to go by, Hip-Hop is definitely in for a treat. Being an additional member to the impressive list of 2015 Hip-Hop releases, the end of the year just got that much better with this announcement.
