Frank Ocean – Channel Orange

New age R&B is back and leading the pack is Frank Ocean with his debut opus “Channel Orange”. Some may consider it controversial because of his sexual preferences but musically it is fantastic. And obviously the Grammy committee agrees by nominating it for Album of the Year as well as giving a nomination to “Thinking Bout You” for Record of the Year. Standout tracks in my opinion are the lengthy masterpiece “Pyramids” and the Pharrell Williams produced “Sweet Life”.
